Printers are primary need after computer now. After type document usually need to print for backup or other use. Otherwise right now some people campaign paperless, demand for print documents are high

I divided printer Based on type below:

1. Printer Deskjet
2. Printer Laser
3. Printer Dot Matrix
4. Line Matrix Printer
5. Dot Band Printer

DeskJet printer usually use for personal (home), office, low – medium printed, colors print, photo, etc that not high speed and heavy duty. For print it’s use ink and can refill. Price ink is cheap. Famous printers in this area are HP, Canon, Epson, Lexmark.

Laser printer has best output than printer Deskjet. It’s use toner for print and range price Rp. 350.000 – million. Laser printer usually use for people that need speed, heavy duty and good quality. Famous printers in this area are Hewlett Packard, Xerox, Samsung

Dot Matrix Printer is first model of printer. It’s usually use for print that need carbonize and for some brand it’s can print until 6 ply. The famous brand are Epson, Tally Genicom, Dataproduct, Seiko Precision, IBM, Olivetti, etc

Line Matrix Printer usually use in Industry that need speed and power. Speed from 500 Lpm, 1000 Lpm, 1200 Lpm, 1500 Lpm, 2000 Lpm. Lpm is shortcut Line per Minute, by example 500Lpm that’s mean thus printer can print 500 line per minute. Only 3 brand that famous are Printronix, IBM, Tally Genicom.

Dot Band Printer is very-very powerfull, very heavy duty and very speed rather than all printer. That’s use this printer usually industry area. Brand that’s launch this type is IBM.
